Rego-Fix & NTK Cutting Tools
Ceramic Endmill & powRgripUsing the Hurco VMX30UHSi in the showroom at Rego-Fix in Indianapolis, NTK Cutting Tools used a 3/4" diameter 8-flute ceramic endmill along with Rego-Fix's powRgrip tool holding system to cut some G2 Cast Iron. The whole goal was to see how the powRgrip tool holders worked in holding the ceramic endmills. As you can see from the sparks flying, it was a success. They also partnered with SolidCAM to help with the tool path.
